Each year, the Long Island Retiree Delegates Council holds a luncheon where retired NYSUT members have the opportunity to hear what our legislative representatives have to say about current issues and to challenge and raise questions about their opinions. Last year, it was members of our Congressional delegation. This year, we'll hear from members of the NYS Senate and Assembly.
Your support for this event is crucial for it is important to show our poltical leaders that we are concerned about their votes in the legislature and that we will act on our convictions on election day.
